Late/No-Show Policy
Up to 15 minutes- I give a very generous grace period of 15 minutes, after that, IF you haven’t contacted me, your appointment will be forfeit.
More than 15 minutes- Unless by some miracle I still have time to do your hair, you will have to reschedule. Contacting me while being more than 15 minutes late is not a guarantee that you will still be seen that day. I think we can all agree that being more than 15 minutes late REPEATEDLY is blatantly disrespectful. (I say this as someone who is neurodivergent and sometimes struggles with time management, but that just means sometimes I need to set an alarm or make an alert in my phone to remind me of stuff.)
If I am late more than 15 minutes- I extend the 15 minute grace period to myself as well, however, in the event that I am over 15 minutes late, if it is an hourly service appointment, you will not be charged for time that I am late AND you will receive a discount on your service by 8%. If it is any other type of service you will receive an 8% discount. I do this because I want you to know, I value your time and expect the same.
No contact, no show- Blocked from scheduling with me in the future.
Canceling within 12 hours of appointment time- half of the appointment service total will be due before you reschedule. Such short notice makes it difficult for me to fill the spot so quickly. I rely on my appointments to make money to pay my bills and run my tiny business so I think this is quite fair.
I understand that we all run late sometimes BUT I do keep a pretty tight schedule and I’m not going to inconvenience my following clients because someone fails to respect my time. It’s not only affecting me, but everyone I have for the rest of the day. It throws off my timing and I HATE making people wait for me. Let’s be respectful to each other🙂
