I’m Devon Perkins, owner, artist, notary public and hairstylist of Tiny Knives Salon. I’m a stylist with 15+ years experience in the beauty industry.

Tiny Knives is a sustainability-focused private salon studio/art gallery, located in Burbank. I recycle my salon waste with Salon Cycle and use/sell JVN hair products, both companies focus on being eco-friendly and sustainable.

I opened Tiny Knives with the purpose to create a safe, comfortable and creative space, for all, while skillfully providing hair services in my eclectic and art-filled salon space.

My goal isn’t only to make everyone who enters through my door feel like a beautiful human, inside and out, but also to remind people to love themselves and show that love to themselves with caring for a part of them: their scalp and hair. It’s a small thing, but a little self-care can change someone’s whole perspective.

I also think it’s important to feel like our outer appearance reflects and expresses who we are on the inside. I am happy and proud to be a provider of gender-affirming haircuts to clients who request them.

I aim to provide education to my clients to style their hair in ways that are practical for their lifestyles. I want everyone to feel confident that they have the knowledge, products and tools to style their hair on their own at home and LOVE their hair.
